Redesign your website and keep NexHealth booking

Your booking system works, but patients struggle to reach the right appointment options. Improve the website without replacing NexHealth.

Patients should not have to hunt for the right appointment link.

Your team uses NexHealth every day. The trouble starts earlier: a visitor finds a vague booking button and ends up looking at the wrong office or unsure which provider to choose.

That can send someone back to the phone—or back to search. If booking itself works, the redesign should make the correct appointment options easier to reach.

Keep NexHealth and rebuild the route into it.

A new website can use your existing NexHealth links while the practice keeps its selected services and subscription. NexHealth documents links customized for locations, providers, and appointment types. Confirm the options in your account.

Give each important page a deliberate destination. Someone reading about one office should know which location they are booking before they start picking a time.

NexHealth’s booking-link instructions

A button that opens is only the first check.

Walk through booking on a phone. Can a new patient choose the intended service? Is the office obvious? What happens when there are no available times?

Ask staff to confirm the agreed test reaches the correct schedule and triggers the expected next step. A polished page can still send people into the wrong workflow.

Keep the website project small enough to finish.

List the NexHealth services you are keeping before requesting a quote. Include forms and reminders if they follow an appointment. This gives the designer a clear scope and staff a useful test list.

If the subscription itself is the problem, use the separate exit checklist below. Replacing scheduling, reminders, or record connections requires more decisions than reconnecting a website.

Your next steps

  1. 1

    Collect the right links

List every location and booking button. Confirm the current links in the practice account.

  2. 2

    Connect the preview

Add clear booking buttons. Review an embed separately if one is needed, including its scripts and tracking.

  3. 3

    Run patient journeys

Check mobile use, provider selection, unavailable slots, confirmation, and arrival in the practice schedule.

  4. 4

    Switch and recheck

Launch the website and repeat the tests. Check links from Google and old campaign pages too.

Before you decide

Link or embedded booking?

A direct link takes the patient to the booking service, while an embed displays the booking interface within your website. Both need a clear, usable path; an embed also needs checking alongside the other scripts on that page.

We would start with the patient experience you want and test it on a phone and with a keyboard. If a simple booking button does the job well, it may be all the website needs.

Does this replace NexHealth forms or reminders?

The redesign described here keeps the selected NexHealth workflows in place. Forms and reminders are separate from the public website, so changing the website alone does not require replacing them.

We still check how they connect to the appointment journey. Your team can confirm that the right form or reminder follows a test booking, and any requested change to those workflows gets its own scope and verification.
